I had an amazing experience with Anew Clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. I travelled on my own from the UK, and everything was organised perfectly from start to finish. When I arrived at Istanbul Airport, a taxi was waiting to take me to my hotel, which made me feel safe and well looked after. The following day, I had my blood tests and then my surgery. I underwent surgery for a bladder prolapse, including a vaginoplasty to repair and tighten my vaginal walls, as well as a labiaplasty. Everything went smoothly, and the medical team was professional, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process. I stayed for two nights to recover before flying back to the UK. Before my surgery, I didn't feel comfortable or confident because of my prolapse, but now I am so happy with the results. It has made a huge difference to my confidence and quality of life. Zenab met me at the hospital and I got some blood tests, then back to the hotel. The next day we visited her Sister at her clinic who is also the surgeon. I felt very comfortable talking about my surgery and being examined. It was the first time I actually felt listened to when it came to female issues in the 29 years since I gave birth to my Son. Later we went to the hospital where I had my surgery. When I came round I was in a bit of pain but nothing too much and was soon given pain relief. I was checked on during the night a few times. The next day I went back to my hotel. I found both the surgeon and her Sister easy to get on with and listened to. It was my best experience of having surgery abroad.

Last month I had to do a surgery, it was the first ever in my life and I would also like to mention I went alone. The organisation was wonderful, the hotel and the hospital were great. I was afraid of course. Zeyneb, one of the assistants, was with me in every step even after the surgery. I highly recommend the clinic and all services they provide. I went over to Istanbul for labiaplasty surgery with Dr Berra. I did a lot of research before going, and I felt Dr Berra was the one for me — she didn't just focus on the labia, she focused on the whole area, whereas other surgeons charged separately for that. When I arrived I was picked up and taken to my hotel. The next day I went to the hospital and met Aylin, had my bloods done, met Dr Berra and was checked over by her. She told me exactly what she was going to do. I was then allocated my room and taken down for the surgery. The hospital was immaculate and everyone I met was lovely. The language barrier was never a problem as Aylin interpreted for me, and Dr Berra also speaks English. I spent the night in hospital and the following day was taken back to my hotel by Dr Berra's sister, who was very kind. She picked me up again two days after my surgery to go to Dr Berra's beautiful clinic for a check-up. Everything was fine and I was ready to fly home the next day — I flew on the Tuesday and was home by Saturday. The pain from the surgery is very minimal; it really doesn't hurt, just a bit tender at times. I was given antibiotics, painkillers and a spray to keep the area clean. I cannot recommend Dr Berra enough — she is such a lovely, caring woman and a perfectionist at what she does. I'm really happy with my results. She's always there for advice when I message her; she doesn't leave you to go back to the UK and forget about you, she stays in touch. Aylin is so down to earth and keeps in touch with me too, and makes you feel completely at ease. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Dr Berra has made me feel like a whole new woman and I'm in love with my results. If you're thinking about having surgery, please don't hesitate — get yourself straight over to the lovely Dr Berra.

Dr Berra approaches you not just like a doctor, but like a big sister or even a mother. Her attentiveness and compassionate manner really touched me — I felt so comfortable. I've finally found the right gynaecologist for me. Before Dr Berra I saw two other gynaecologists — neither took any interest when I tried to explain my concerns, and I felt judged. Dr Berra put me completely at ease emotionally. I was able to ask anything I was curious about without hesitation, and I never felt judged. She's warm and smiling, and I truly believe she's a wonderful doctor.

I went to Dr Berra for a problem I had felt very shy about, and I was in a really difficult place emotionally. Her sincerity, warmth and empathy calmed me so much that on the way out I hugged her and cried. We go to the doctor whenever we have a problem — often at our most vulnerable moments — and receiving genuine, heartfelt support rather than a performative one is the best thing you can experience. She is already excellent at her work; I congratulate her. A relative of mine went to see her recently on my recommendation and felt exactly the same way. Above all, I thank her for listening so sincerely and truly trying to find solutions. I wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone — especially if you're in a sensitive situation, she is the best doctor to help you without ever making you feel bad.

I wanted to leave some feedback about my positive experience at Anew Clinic. From my initial consultations to the care I received during and after my procedure from Dr. Evren, I was very impressed. The staff, especially Zeynep and Lore, were also friendly, thoughtful, and attentive to my needs throughout my time there.
